If you reside in one of the zones above, you can view the solar eclipse outside on October 20, 2022. However, we advise not seeing the eclipse with bare eyes. Instead, wear sunglasses or, for the easiest method, hold an X-ray in front of your eyes.

 

Many Pandits in the Hindu religion view this event as encouraging, and they advise people to pray to God for their requests to be granted as quickly as possible. In India, the Surya Grahan will start at 4:20 PM and terminate at 6:03 PM in 2022. Most Indian cities will be able to witness it, and most likely, every state will be able to see the solar eclipse in 2022.

 

Solar Eclipse October 2022 – State Wise Timing:

 

• If the October 2022 solar eclipse that will occur in Delhi is the one we are referring to, it will begin there at 4:29 PM Indian Time.
• Similarly, the solar eclipse will begin at 5:14 pm in Chennai.
• In Kolkata, the solar eclipse will begin at 4:52 PM Indian Standard Time.
• Speaking of Mumbai, the solar eclipse will begin at 4:49 p.m. local time.
• The duration of the total solar eclipse will be between one hour and one hour and nineteen minutes if we know where Delhi and Mumbai are.
• Like Chennai and Kolkata, the total eclipse time in October 2022 will be approximately 31 and 12 minutes.
