PM Modi attends Chintan Shivir

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Chintan Shivir of Home Ministers of states later today via video conferencing. The two-day Chintan Shivir is being held at Surajkund, Haryana. Home Secretaries and Director Generals of Police (DGPs) of the States and Director Generals of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Central Police Organizations (CPOs) will attend the Chintan Shivir. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Chintan Shivir (brainstorming session) of Home Ministers of states today in Surajkund, Haryana. The Shivir will deliberate on issues like modernization of police forces, cybercrime management, increased use of IT in the criminal justice system, land border management, coastal security, women’s safety, and drug trafficking, among others, an official statement said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a meeting of all the chief ministers of states having charge of the Home Ministry on Tuesday. Mr. Modi is likely to discuss the issue of internal security and also other important issues related to the country’s security. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will address the two-day Chintan Shivir of Home Ministers of states held in New Delhi from 6th to 7th June.
