Health ATMs: Know more about Launched By UP Government

The Uttar Pradesh government has launched a health ATM, which will allow people to conduct pathological tests and get medicines in Lucknow. This is the first of its kind in the country.

The health ATM can carry out several pathological tests on a person, dispense medicines and help patients interact with doctors virtually.

The machine will also check patients’ condition, including their height, weight, body temperature, blood glucose, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation levels.

It will make healthcare services convenient and pocket-friendly. The machine will be set up at the B.R. Ambedkar Medical College and Hospital, where it will be available for public use from 6 pm to 10 pm daily.

It will also have a chat facility, where patients can talk to doctors. The machine has been developed by Bengaluru-based firm Medall Healthcare Solutions and is an initiative of the Uttar Pradesh government.

The company is also planning to develop similar machines for other hospitals in Uttar Pradesh, including the Kannauj Medical College.

The device was unveiled by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at a function in Lucknow on Tuesday. It will be available at the medical college from 6 pm to 10 pm daily.
