Drugs Worth Rs.632Cr To Be Destroyed in Gujarat in Presence of Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah to chair an important meeting on Wednesday evening at Gandhinagar, capital city of Gujarat. The meeting will be in presence of several Chief Ministers, Deputy Chief Ministers and administrators to discuss several important matters concerning regional security.
According to sources, the Chief Ministers, Deputy Chief Ministers and administrators from Goa, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu are likely to be present in the meeting today.
A total of 12,438.96 Kgs drugs valued at Rs 632.68 will be destroyed today in the presence of Shah and other dignitaries as fight against drug trafficking.
Drugs and narcotic substances worth 40000 kgs were destroyed in Guwahati in the presence of Amit Shah two weeks ago. Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) under the guidance of Shah has set itself up for a special mission for 75 days to mark India’s 75th year of Independence to destroy at least 75,000 kgs of confiscated drugs.
The Union Home Minister had started the mission by destroying more than 31000 kgs of drugs by pressing the button on July 30 this year in Chandigarh.
