Reyansh Surani (India) is the youngest certified yoga instructor in the world, setting a new record at the age of 9 years 220 days. The young yogi received his certification from the Anand Shekhar Yoga School on 27 July 2021, after completing their 200-Hour Yoga Teacher’s Training Course.
The young boy started practicing yoga under the guidance of his parents in 2013 and has been practicing ever since. He is now a full-time yoga instructor and teaches classes at his school in Mumbai. His teachers say that he is very disciplined and passionate about yoga.
Yoga has been an integral part of my life since the age of four. I started going to yoga classes with my parents and have always loved it since then. I train with some of the best yoga teachers in the world and am dedicated to spreading the positive impacts of yoga throughout my community and the world.
I have always felt a strong connection with the divine through the practice of yoga and I feel honored to share that connection with others through my classes. I am inspired by the infinite potential of the human body and love being a part of its transformation through practice.
‘As a young yoga instructor I believe that my role is to spread positivity and happiness throughout the world and inspire people to lead a more fulfilling life.’ says Revansh Surani.
I also believe that it is important for children to understand the importance of staying healthy and building a healthy lifestyle from a young age. This is why I have dedicated my life to teaching kids the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and the benefits of practicing yoga and mindful meditation.
He has completed over 200 hours of intense yogi training!
