The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Photography is a degree program that is often extended to a duration of three to five years.
In this course, students learn to capture the images through the lens and process them in a darkroom.
In their second year, they learn about the history of photography and get skilled in various aspects of photography like photojournalism, advertising, and documentary photography.
The third and fourth years are for specialization in a particular area of photography. Students can choose from areas like fashion photography, portrait photography, product photography, travel, landscape photography, etc.
The students are also exposed to the world of filmmaking and cinematography. They learn about how a camera works and how to use different types of lenses for better results. The school has many workshops where students can interact with professionals from different fields like fashion designers, advertising agencies, etc.
Students are taught to be creative and innovative. They are encouraged to think out of the box and work on their projects. The students also get an opportunity to network with other like-minded individuals in their fields of interest.
